In the latest Mobile Experience Report for Finland, Telia and DNA were statically tied for first place with the highest Excellent Consistent Quality, while Telia had the highest Core Consistent Quality. DNA had both the fastest download and upload speeds, while Elisa had the most responsive network.
Telia and DNA had highest Excellent Consistent Quality, Telia for Core
In Common Coverage Areas across Finland, Telia and DNA were statistically tied for first place with the highest Excellent Consistent Quality, over 88% of connections having a network experience suitable for use-cases like 1080p video streaming, real-time mobile gaming or HD video calling. Elisa was not far behind, with an Excellent Consistent Quality of 87.88%.
In regards to Core Consistent Quality, Tutela’s metric for when a connection is good enough for web browsing, social media sharing and SD video streaming, all three operators reached the 90% threshold with Telia out in front with a Core Consistent Quality of 95.45%. Elisa was in second place with 94.0%, followed by DNA at 92.80%.

DNA had fastest download and upload speeds
DNA narrowly had the fastest median download speed at 35.0 Mbps, with Elisa in second place with 34.0 Mbps. Telia, in third place, was only 4.3 Mbps slower than first place DNA.
In the upload speed test, all operators were within 0.2 Mbps of each other, with DNA out in front with a median upload speed of 14.4 Mbps, followed by Elisa at 14.2 Mbps, and Telia at 14.0 Mbps.
Elisa had the best one-way latency result
Elisa had the most responsive network in Common Coverage Areas across Finland with a median one-way latency result of 11.9 ms. Telia and DNA were statistically tied for second place with a median one-way latency result of just over 13 ms.
