In the latest Mobile Experience Report for Belgium, Proximus was found to have the highest Excellent Consistent Quality in the country with 93.7%. The operator also had the fastest median upload speed, however BASE had the fastest median download speed in the country and Orange had the best one-way latency result.
Proximus had the highest Excellent Consistent Quality
In Common Coverage Areas across Belgium, Proximus had the highest Excellent Consistent Quality in the country, with 93.7% of tests good enough for applications like HD video calling, movie streaming, or mobile gaming. BASE was close behind Proximus by only 2.9% for an Excellent Consistent Quality of 90.8%, and Orange was in third for an Excellent Consistent Quality of 89.3%, only 4.4% behind first place Proximus.

BASE had fastest median download speed
Despite its third place ranking in the Consistent Quality metric, BASE had the fastest median download speed in Belgium with 31.7 Mbps. Proximus was in second place by only 3 Mbps for a median download speed of 28.7 Mbps, and Orange had a median download speed of 22.1 Mbps, 9.6 Mbps behind first place BASE. For upload speeds, Proximus took out the top spot for the fastest median speed of 14.8 Mbps in Common Coverage Areas across Belgium. Orange came in second for a median upload speed of 12.9 Mbps, followed closely by BASE at 12.0 Mbps.
Orange had best latency result
For latency, there was again a change to the operator rankings: Orange was in first place for the best median one-way latency in Belgium with 12.8 ms. Proximus was in second place for a result of 17.5 ms, and BASE in third with 19.3 ms.
