Customer Success Manager

As Customer Success Manager you (and your team) will be responsible for the success, advocacy and retention of our customers. You are a strategic consultant, a trusted advisor and champion of the customer relationship. At times you will be a data analyst working closely with our tech team to troubleshoot anomalies and answer support questions. At other times you will be a relationship manager and internal salesperson charged with ensuring that we keep customers happy and receive renewals. This requires a strong technical and customer centric foundation.

What You'll Get To Do

  • Develop customer success plans to align expectations, match customer goals to platform features, and demonstrate ROI
  • Help our customers translate data into actionable insights by answering methodology, data, and product questions as needed
  • Design and create a scalable customer support platform by building on our support knowledge base to reduce repeat questions
  • Work with our technology team as needed to help troubleshoot complex customer issues
  • Manage a small but growing team dedicated to supporting your customer success process
  • Help move customers and partners through our sales pipeline and process by on-boarding customers onto our platforms and managing accounts
  • Understand each customer’s contract to proactively manage renewals and identify upsell opportunities
  • Engage and build customer advocates and leverage their experiences to influence product design and supply stories to marketing

Who You Are

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a client-facing role with a technology centric SaaS company
  • You have a bachelors degree in a technical field, computer science, management information systems or related fields, i.e. BA, BBA or technical equivalent
  • You have a strong technical foundation and have familiarity with programming, data, and basic mathematical principles
  • You are a self-starter willing to do what is necessary to deliver on ambiguous and broad requirements
  • You are an excellent communicator and strong presenter no matter the medium - in-person, on the phone, writing, or through a web call
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with all levels of staff and external contacts
  • You are meticulous and highly organized (you love to track everything!)
  • You have strong leadership skills and are resilient and open to finding creative solutions when needed
  • You hate to be late and feel compelled to get back to customers as quickly as possible

Bonus

  • You have experience with Hubspot, Zendesk, or equivalent customer support platforms
  • You have data analytics experience and proven aptitude with creative analysis
  • You have both a technical and customer-facing background with experience or knowledge of digital platforms, and enterprise SaaS
  • You have a working knowledge of communication and wireless networks
  • You have experience publishing market research reports and/or white papers

This position will involve front end design and development work for our data analytics dashboard. Individuals with a keen interest in visualizing large multidimensional datasets, and exploring new methods will enjoy this role.
