In the latest Mobile Experience Snapshot for Saudi Arabia, STC won in four of the five metrics tested, including the highest Excellent Consistent Quality and fastest median upload speeds. STC and Mobily statistically tied for fastest download speeds.
In Common Coverage Areas across Saudi Arabia, STC had the highest Excellent Consistent Quality with 78.3% of subscribers having a network experience suitable for use-cases like 1080p video streaming, real-time mobile gaming or HD video calling. With a difference in performance of 5%, Mobily was in second place with an Excellent Consistent Quality of 73.3%. Zain had the lowest Excellent Consistent Quality at 34.0%, 44.3% behind first place STC.
For Core Consistent Quality, meaning subscribers having a network experience suitable for use-cases like SD video streaming, social media sharing and web browsing, STC was the only operator to reach the 90% threshold for a Core Consistent Quality of 90.9%. Mobily was in second place at 88.6%, 2.3% behind STC, while Zain was in third place at 82.0%, only 8.9% behind STC.

STC and Mobily statistically tied for first place for a median download speed of just over 19 Mbps, while Zain had a median download speed of 12.0 Mbps.
STC also had the fastest median upload speed at 9.0 Mbps. Zain surpassed Mobily in this category by 1 Mbps with a median upload speed of 6.6 Mbps.
Mobily had the most responsive network in Common Coverage Areas across Saudi Arabia with a one-way latency result of 18.5 ms. STC was close behind with a result of 19.3 ms, while Zain had the worst latency result at 61.7 ms.
