In the latest Mobile Experience Report for Paraguay, Claro dominated in four of the five metrics tested: Claro had the highest Excellent and Core Consistent Quality percentage in the country, and the fastest median and upload speed. Tigo had the best one-way latency result in the country by 0.1 ms.
In Common Coverage Areas across Paraguay, Claro had the highest Excellent Consistent Quality with 79.9% of tests good enough for applications like HD video calling, movie streaming, or mobile gaming. Tigo was behind first place Claro by 16.3% and Personal was behind by 17.6%.
For Core Consistent Quality, Claro also had the highest percentage in Paraguay with 94.7%. Personal was behind Claro by 6.4% for a Core Consistent Quality of 88.3%, followed by Tigo at 87.8%.
In the speed test, Claro had both the fastest median download speed and upload speed in Common Coverage Areas across Paraguay with 12.8 Mbps and 8.8 Mbps. The operator also had a healthy lead over the competition, with Claro 4.9 Mbps and 5.3 Mbps faster than Tigo and Personal in the download speed test.
For latency, Tigo had the lowest result on a 4G network with 34.0 ms, however only taking the top spot from Claro by 0.1 ms. Personal had the highest result on a 4G network with 40.5 ms, 6.5 ms and 6.4 ms more than the other two operators.
